Eram Residential
The Eram residential building on Eram Street in Shiraz is an example of how traditional design can be seamlessly merged with modern architecture. The use of prefabricated steel in the building’s construction has resulted in a contemporary structure that houses four units across four floors. The building’s facade is a unique blend of two different traditional design styles: Iranian and Japanese. The contemporary use of brick creates a dynamic visual effect, which is further enhanced by the interplay of light and shadow throughout the day. The Eram residential building shows how traditional design can be adapted and incorporated into contemporary building practices.
